The situation of sedentary lifestyle, as a lack of physical activation that is suffered in the country and that has an impact on high rates of childhood obesity, makes it necessary to promote projects that encourage the physical activation of infants.
In Mexico, 1 in every 20 girls and boys under 5 years of age and 1 in every 3 between the ages of 6 and 19 is overweight, according to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), which places the country among the first places in childhood obesity worldwide.
