Hi, I have decided to get a PS3, even thought I do have a PS4, I would like to be able to play older games, and play with my friends. I have found a used PS3 slim, and have got a really good deal, but the PS3 only has 120gb storage. I want to upgrade, so I am going to replace it with a 500gb hard drive. I already know how to do the physical hard drive replacement, but I'm just confused on the Software side of it. If I just outright take one drive out, and replace it with a new one, will I get a brand new software, with no profiles or anything, or would I have to do something?
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
